Waiting Room
06:03
|
|
||
I'll reach my arms out and sway
It's the second time today
I'm just not enough
I've tried so hard to be; my words are lost in a sea
I'm staring at the wall
Nothing works at all
I'm just not enough
Empty cans on my desk are all I have to cope
Yet another message sent; dreams of midsummer tents
I guess it's good having a dream to strike a chat that always fades

Erosion
04:19
|
|
||
Looking back to where it all began
Pyrrhic dreams of a lavender man
My heart was concrete, cemented in your mind
We thought we’d leave our emptiness behind
We were erosion
Shop-like convenient miscalculations
Darkness confused for adoration
I just couldn’t let you run into the night
Because without you, I’d just feel.. alright
We were erosion
I was then a man yearning for release
And I remained a man yearning for release

My Worst Escape
05:18
|
|
||
Should I feel relieved?
Or should I feel dismay?
For all those wasted hours
And now extinguished flames
I could only love you when it suited me
My hands have vanished
So I could set them free
They satisfied my weakness
So I could feel like me
I sit on chairs lined with others’ blood
I would be nowhere without them
Maybe I deserved to crash and burn
Maybe I’ve just had my worst escape

Surrealist Garden
04:28
|
|
||
Your mind is a canyon
An intricate expanse
I’ll dive to the floor
And immerse in its trance
Like some surrealist garden
There’s turns I don’t expect
Yet all seem so graceful
We’re born to complect
I long to dream beside you

Months Feel Like Hours
07:44
|
|
||
How could I believe
This tunnel would subside
And open up a world
Of endless delight?
We’ve toiled endlessly
Pining for a dream
Yet unknown to the eye
It’s closer than it seemed
Months feel like hours when I’m in your arms
Nothing before us but timeless charm
